The Alwyne is one of the best pubs in Islington: famous for its atmosphere, its garden, the warmth of its welcome and much more besides. Open fires, great pub food and cosy corners in the winter... huge beer garden, barbeque, hogroast, outside cider bar and Pimms shack in the summer... the Alwyne can do it all!
Our garden is the best in Highbury... where else can you drink outside in Islington with 300+ other like-minded people whilst having access to BBQs, 22 draught products, massive cider range and more wines than you can shake a stick at? NOWHERE, that's where.
Now winter has come so cosy up in the warm of our conservatory, or spend the day lounging on the sofas. We offer the best seaonal experience you will find, and we will be delighted to fill you up with mulled wine all those cold winter evenings long........
We have recently undergone a refurbishment with pretty much the sole purpose of helping us help you to get your drinks faster (we had a real Jerry MacGuire moment there) so come down and see how we're doing. We look forward to seeing you,

2 Meals and 2 Drinks for £15 available all day from Monday to Friday in January. Featuring favourite dishes like freshly beer battered haddock and chips, steak and ale pie and our handmade beef burger as well as a choice of drinks from our well stocked bar.
